Abraham prays for a city

What directs our attention to the things we pray for?
"Remember Lot's wife" - God removes sin from us, we should not long for it.
Similarly, Lot does not want the angels to stay in the city where he stays.
A key point in Abraham's prayer is v25: "will not the judge of all the earth do right?" Abraham knows that God will only do right.
1) Know who God is when you pray
2) Understand the things that God will not do when you pray.

Abraham could not find one righteous person in the city. The one righteous person is Jesus Christ, who makes our prayers heard before God the Father.

What God does will be the right thing.
What God has done in Jesus Christ is the only way to escape the coming judgment.
