Thanksgiving

It is such a blessing that in the United States we have a holiday set aside specifically for giving thanks. Though many people see it as a time for family gathering, eating lots of food, and watching special programming on the television, we as believers can see it as a different kind of opportunity. We learn from Scripture the importance of having a thankful heart, and there are many examples of thanksgiving being offered up to God. So, in addition to all those other opportunities, let's take advantage of the time to reflect on how God has been working in our lives and express our gratitude with a thankful heart.
