Steve Frensemeier

As our Administrative Pastor, Steve is primarily focused on the business and facility sides of our ministry here at FCC. He also leads our church's Men's Ministry. Steve attended Indiana State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, which positioned him well for his 30+ year career in healthcare. He managed and led physician office practices, as well as medical businesses. In addition, before coming to FCC, Steve owned a medical consulting firm that worked with healthcare and medical businesses to help them grow and advance in a variety of ways. He also owns a property services business, which provides commercial cleaning, as well as commercial and residential lawn care. Along the way, Steve also earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Steve first felt called to a career in vocational ministry around 2012, but the Lord had perfectly orchestrated His plan and directed Steve's steps toward the position that he had now. He is thankful for the years he spent in healthcare, and especially in consulting, as they allowed him to learn and prepare for the role to which God has called him in this season.

Steve's family has a long history at FCC, and he loves it because, as he says, "This is home to me." Steve is married to his best friend and "Happy Helpmate," Tracy, and they have four children: Avery, Erin, JR, and Walker. Outside of the church office, you might find Steve enjoying some good BBQ or sushi, on a roadtrip with his family, or sitting on his tractor.
