Mitch Sefton

Mitch Sefton is our Youth Pastor here at First Christian Church. Mitch's parents attended FCC, so he has been worshiping here since he was a child. Upon graduation from high school, Mitch attended the University of Indianapolis, where he majored in Elementary Education. Mitch worked as a fifth-grade teacher for Greensburg Community Schools for over a decade before God called him into vocational ministry. Mitch and his family moved to Carlyle, Illinois, where he served as the Family Ministry Pastor for two years. He moved back to Greensburg and soon found himself in a Youth Pastor role at his home church.

Mitch is married to his wife, Courtney, who also grew up at FCC, and they have three boys: Ayden, Eliyah, and Niam. In his free time, you might find Mitch bargain shopping at Goodwill or garage sales, coaching Ayden's baseball team, or watching the Pittsburgh Pirates play baseball.
