[0:00] between hear me you're either cold or you're not if you look warm you have no part it's coming down to in or out there's just no time for all this playing around we got to go back to truth or false somebody shout amen we got to go back to calvary's cross we've got to go back to living true we're going back to the absolutes back to where the church stands strong back to where there's a right there is a wrong back to whether it's black or white revelation the second chapter you see the difference is like day and night no compromise without getting slack you see we can go forward if we just go back thank you brothers praise the lord revelation second chapter give us some lights back here so they can see their bible to read somebody shut that door back there in the back or somebody be running through there in a minute that should be out here in church and i'll see somebody looking like i'm running and holler at them they'll get mad at me did somebody shout amen how many had a good week this week well you're not in the hospital and you're not in the jailhouse maybe you have been but you're out tonight amen praise god thank you jesus hallelujah hallelujah revelation the second chapter i want to beginning the 18th verse and i want to talk about the church of thyatira amen most of them be talking the church of sardis or or the church of ephesus or the church of of the laodicea every once in a while about the church of philadelphia the bride church amen but i want to talk about riverside can somebody shout riverside tonight oh that's not shouting riverside can you shout riverside can belinda shout riverside amen thank you jesus amen hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah thank you lord praise god revelation second chapter praise god 18th verse got seat belts on we got any fire extinguishers around here we might have to get a few but that's a fire here amen revelation 2 18 says these words and to the angel of the church in thyatira write these things saith the son of god who have eyes like unto a flame of fire and his feet are like fine brass i know thy works and thy charity and thy service and faith and thy patience and thy works and the last being more than the first notwithstanding i have a few things against thee because thou sufferest that woman jezebel which called herself a prophetess to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication and to eat things things sacrificed unto idols and i gave her a space to repent of her fornication and she repented not behold i will cast her into a bed and then that commit adultery with her into great

[4:01] tribulation except they repent of their deeds except they repent of their deeds except they repent of their deeds and i will kill her children with death and all the churches shall know that i am he which search at the reins and the hearts and i will give unto every one of you according to your works and i will give unto every one of you according to your works and i will give unto every one of you according to your works but unto you i say and unto the rest entire tyra and as many as have not this doctrine which have not known the depths of satan as they speak i will put upon you none other burden but that which she already have hold fast till i come he that overcometh and keepeth my words unto the end to him will i give power over the nations and he shall rule them with a rod of iron as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers as i received of my father and i will give him the morning star he that hath an ear let him hear what the spirit saith to the churches let's all bear here to go to the lord in prayer lord jesus father tonight we already know god that your word is anointed your word is blessed but lord god we've got a veil upon our minds tonight lord we have deaf ears that we can't hear what the spirit's saying and lord we have eyes that can't read and understand your word but god i pray tonight shut them all yes lord god that you would draw back that curtain god take the blindfolds off of our eyes lord god quicken your word in our lungs and in our hearts tonight my god that we might be able to read your word lord god and see that it's speaking of us it's nothing to riverside not to thyatira but to riverside lord god you said this word tonight lord god let me preach under the anointing of your holy spirit for the next few minutes in jesus name i pray and everybody said amen amen and amen hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah verses 18 and 19 are words of comfort verses 20 and through 23 are words of death the big problem in fire tyra is sexual immorality big problem in riverside sexual immorality coming on some conversations men i get there they just hush up because you know what men with men and women with women and women with men talking about things that you shouldn't be talking about unless you're married doing things you shouldn't be doing unless you're married going places you shouldn't go unless you're married now y'all might think i came from mars or venus but honey i came from livermore tonight but i'm sitting here on a direct mandate from god to preach the regular riverside gardens of death to you.

[7:42] Amen? Because you can't have it both ways. You can't have it lukewarm.

[7:55] How many is ready for a change? How many is really ready for a change? You know when they started the church at Pentecost, man, let me tell you what, thousands were getting saved. One time 4,000, 3,000, next time 4,000, 5,000 got saved. And they were added to the church daily ascension should be saved. And then among all of them came one called Simon the sorcerer.

[8:16] And when Simon saw that, when the disciples laid hands on people that received the Holy Ghost, he went up and said, hey, let me have some of that power that I can lay hands on people and give them the Holy Ghost. I'll pay you for it.

[8:32] Peter said words to this effect. Your money can't buy what we got. You waving at me on the back row?

[8:48] Who you waving at back there? You want to sit on the front row? Don't you talk to nobody but me while I'm preaching. Where's your mama at? Where's your daddy at? Where's your sister at? All right, be quiet.

[9:01] I'm preaching. I'm preaching. Unless you're raising your hand to wave, praise God, that's all right. Sexual immorality.

[9:13] Oh, let me get on down through here. Because you, hold on, hold on. You got your seatbelts on, buckle them up. You got an airbag? Just put your hand over her mouth. Don't let her talk. The big problem in Thyatira, I mean, I mean, I mean, oh, never mind about that.

[9:28] The big problem in Thyatira was sexual immorality and they're not conforming to the acceptable principles that are preached and mandated in God's holy word.

[9:43] How many knows that God's got laws and God's people live by His laws? Amen. It doesn't matter whether I like them or whether I don't like them. It doesn't matter whether I think they're right or they're wrong. It doesn't matter what I think.

[9:54] God didn't ask me, what do you think about this law, Brother Van? I'm going to put this in here. Because let me tell you what He said in the book of Exodus, the 20th chapter. He said, Thou shall not commit adultery.

[10:05] Somebody shout amen. Thou shall not commit adultery. Now most of you think you're smart enough to know what adultery is, but I'm going to bet money that you don't know what adultery is.

[10:17] So I'm going to lay it out for you. Adultery is all lawful sexual relationships outside of marriage or even inside of marriage if it's with somebody other than your wife.

[10:33] Let me just say that one more time. Adultery is all unlawful sexual relationships. If you've got a text Bible, page 114, there are 96 sex laws.

[10:45] 96 sex laws. And then God said in the Ten Commandments, Thou shall not commit adultery. Adultery is also fornication. Most people tell you well fornication is what people are having sex before they get married.

[10:58] No. That's just part of it. But that's not all of it. Or adultery is fornication. And fornication is also adultery. Fornication of adultery of a married or single people, it's incest, it's whoredom, it's sodomy, it's prostitution, it's male or female homosexuality, lesbianism.

[11:17] And this church, which is a church that God sent me to, but not to this church, only to the churches all through the land, it's everywhere, it's everywhere, it's everywhere.

[11:31] But God didn't send me to other churches, He sent me to Riverside. Can somebody shout amen tonight? Hallelujah. And I want to preach to you here just for a few minutes. In 1 Corinthians, the 5th chapter and the 9th verse. Turn that with me real quick, but don't lose your place in Revelation, or I'll be coming back there.

[12:10] What did I say adultery was? Adultery is fornication. If you commit fornication, you're a fornicator. Paul said, I wrote unto you that you should not company. What does company mean?

[12:22] Hang around with, go with, eat with, invite them into your home, you go to their home. You should not company with fornicators. That also means adulterers. That means, that means incest people, whoredoms, sodomy, prostitutes, male or female.

[12:39] Can somebody shout amen? Don't company with them. Don't run around with them. Don't hang, listen. How many, how many times, how many years have I been preaching? You are what you hang around with.

[12:50] You will become what your eyes look upon. You will become what your ears listen to. You want to listen to old country music and, and, and, and, and you know, how you lost your wife and you lost your car and you lost your house.

[13:02] You know what you get when you play country music backwards? Get your housewife, get your house back, get your wife back, get your children back, get your home back, get your life back. Amen? If it's not country, then we get on wrong and wrong. You hear them coming down the street a mile away.

[13:17] Ain't no way they can tell what they say. I can't tell you the last time I pulled up beside somebody and they had their tape player on.

[13:31] What a friend we have in Jesus. When's the last time you went to somebody's house and they was playing gospel music? What's wrong with the church? Tell you what, the church is coming under the power of the devil.

[13:45] Oh, let me preach to you. I'm going to get this out and I don't want to take very long to do it. Listen, I wrote unto you in an epistle not to accompany with fornicators, yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world or with the covetous.

[13:56] Listen, don't accompany with those that are covetous or those that are extortioners or with idolaters for then must ye needs go out of the world. What did he say?

[14:08] If we accompany with them, if we hang around them, we're going out of the world. In other words, God's going to take you out. He said, I brought you into this world and I can take you out. I made you, I can take you out, make another just like you, put you right there in their place.

[14:22] Amen? This is what, this is what he says now. But now I have written unto you not to keep company if any man is called a brother.

[14:35] Who's he talking to? Talking to brothers. Talking, somebody shout brothers. Brothers. Brothers. Brothers. Brothers. If any man is called a brother, who is a brother?

[14:48] Well, that's somebody in church. That's somebody that comes to church. That's somebody that gets up and shouts with you and dances with you and sings with you. If somebody is called a brother, that's what he says here.

[15:07] But now I have written unto you not to keep company. If any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, there's that word again, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, rich, such, and one, no, don't even go eat with them.

[15:26] I think I made it up. I didn't make it up. No, not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?

[15:39] Now that's a tricky way they said that. I had to really study this before I could figure out what they were saying. God is saying, I'll judge them that's on the outside, the sinners, but I'm telling you to judge them that's on the inside.

[15:51] Judge your brother and your sister that's in church. If they're a fornicator, if they're covetous, what all these things are, if they're an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, don't fellowship with them.

[16:05] In other words, excommunicate them from your company. Don't hang around with them. Don't go where they go. Don't let them hang around with you because if people see them hanging around with you, they're going to think that you think you do the same thing they are.

[16:18] Don't let your good be evil spoken of. Don't let your good be evil spoken of. Don't let them walk in all. Somebody said, well, I can't save them if I just, if I don't go around them, you can go, you can go down there and witness to them.

[16:31] You don't have to move in with them. You don't have to let them move in with you. Come out. Come out. Hallelujah. He said, now listen, he says, for what have I to do to judge them also that are without?

[16:46] Do not ye judge them that are within, but them that are without, God judgeth. Therefore, put away from yourselves that wicked person.

[16:57] Can somebody shout amen? Amen. He said, I have ridden with you not to keep company with fornicators. What is a fornicator? Let me give you some more descriptions of it. Sexual intercourse outside of marriage, also adultery in marriage, and what makes the devil happy?

[17:10] What do you think makes the devil happy? What makes the devil happy? The devil is really happy when somebody like Jimmy Swagger or Jimmy Baker or all these priests that got their collar turned backwards and they're holy men of God and people been going up there confessing to them and they fooling around these little boys all the time.

[17:28] When they're accepted in the church and won't nobody say anything about it and they cover their sins and they say everything is all right, amen. Hey, come on, Riverside. What happens when we know the sins in the church and we don't preach against it and we don't rail against it and we don't shout against it.

[17:44] You know what we're doing? We're patting it on the back and saying, that's okay. That's okay. That's okay. Hey, they might be shouting with you. They might be dancing with you. They might be singing with you. What's the Bible say? Excommunicate.

[17:57] Have no part with them. Don't even go eat with them. You say, Brother Van, that's rough. 1 Corinthians, the 5th chapter.

[18:09] I didn't make it up. I didn't even write it. I just read it to you. Hallelujah. Revelation, the verse 20. See what it says. It says, He said, I have someone against you because of that woman Jezebel.

[18:21] Now, this isn't the Jezebel king, Ahab's wife. This is a woman that was in the church in Thyatira and the minister of the church had let her come in and she called herself a prophetess.

[18:32] She wasn't a prophetess. She was a prophetess of the devil. She wasn't a prophetess. She said, I'm a servant of God. Now, let me tell you something. You folks, y'all in legalism and that preacher is binding you all down.

[18:43] Listen, three-fourths of the church were doing great. He said, I know your works, your patience, your faith, how you can bear them that say they're good and they're not and your works and the latter being better more than the first.

[18:55] He said, I know all these things. I know that but I still have a few things against you because you suffered that woman Jezebel to teach and to do things to turn people and what was she teaching?

[19:09] What was her doctrine? Her doctrine was if the situation arises, it's alright to have a little sex on the side.

[19:30] Your wife don't have to know about it. Your mate don't have to know about it. It fulfills good, do it.

[19:43] She taught. She taught this in church. She taught this. When we don't preach against it, it's the same thing as us teaching it because we're not preaching against it.

[19:54] She taught them to eat foods that were sacrificed to idols because Thyatira was a prosperous industrial community and they even had unions.

[20:05] I looked this all up today. They had unions there and these unions had like religious festivals and to be part of this religious festival, now where are you going? Well, y'all didn't know we was going to preach tonight?

[20:20] You're going to bring the baby bottle after I get ready to preach? Well, hurry up and go on. Could preach that, fix that baby bottle while we were shaking and shouting. You could have fixed the baby bottle when we were singing and shouting.

[20:35] You didn't know you was coming to church. Didn't know the baby was going to have a bottle. Didn't have a bottle warmer. Amen. I am preaching. Are you listening? There's a time to shout. There's a time to sing. There's a time to run and dance.

[20:45] There's a time to be quiet and be still and get the word of God. Amen. I'm preaching to you. You might not get it, but if you don't get it, you're going to die and spit hell wide open. I told you, this is about, these are a few words of goodness and exhortation and lifting you up, but it's also some words of death.

[21:04] If you reject what is being preached in the word of God, death is going to be lying at your door. Can somebody shout amen? She called herself a prophetess. She was representing, she said, I represent the Lord, but at the same time, she was a prostitute and she prostituted the teachings of Jesus Christ, leading others to do the very same thing.

[21:22] That they had orgies, they were trying to have orgies in their church services. Think about it. You say, oh, that could never happen. Oh, hogwash.

[21:33] Could happen, did happen, is happening right now. Oh, maybe they're not doing it in church. They'll come to church singing, shouting, dancing, screaming, hollering, everything. Then go out, get in the car, get a hotel, go to somebody's house, commit sin.

[21:53] Yeah, it's quiet. It's quiet. I want it to be quiet because I want you to hear what God is trying to tell me to preach to you. Did you get them fire extinguishers or not yet?

[22:05] Get a shotgun too. I might have to have them shoot them off at me. Jezebel taught that sex is good and it should not be denied.

[22:16] You know, that's just one of your natural cravings and it should not just be limited to marriage because you're not always attracted to your wife or your husband. You see that good looking woman going down the street. You see that good looking man over there and you make eyes with him.

[22:30] You may not know it. Power in these eyes. These eyes are the very thing that starts you on your way to sin.

[22:42] They looked at the tree and the tree was what was good to look on. Amen? Hallelujah. A tree to be desired to make one wise.

[22:53] Let me tell you what. No, don't let me tell you that. That it was alright to have sex anytime the opportunity presented itself and then you could still come to church you could still sing and shout when we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be.

[23:12] Turn with me over to the book of Galatians the fifth chapter. Somebody shout Galatians 5. Days 5 beginning at verse 16. Got a date on page 205 it says This I say then walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

[23:31] You mean God's people got some lust in their flesh? I'm just telling you what the word says. This I say then walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh for the flesh lusts against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh and these are contrary one to another so that you cannot do the things that you would do.

[23:55] Did you ever understand that? Did you understand that? Let me preach it to you one more time because the devil just devil just put a blinder on your eyes stop your ears because he don't want you to hear that.

[24:16] Listen to what he says this I say then walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of your flesh.

[24:27] Now what did I just say? Walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh for the flesh lusts against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh and these are contrary one to another so that you cannot do the things that you would.

[24:55] Now let me tell you what that's saying. that's saying that we are all male or female or somewhere in between. Come on. And if we weren't walking in the spirit we would commit these sexual perverted acts.

[25:16] Come on. But if we walk in the spirit we won't fulfill the lust that's in our flesh for the flesh lust and that word lust of their means war of the flesh wars against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh and these are contrary one to another so something's wrong if you appear shouting in the spirit and you're going home with somebody else that's not your wife and you're not married to them or some man or some woman or something else and you're having sexual relations.

[25:50] Am I plain enough? But if you be led of the spirit you're not under the law. Now the works of the flesh how many knows what the works of the flesh are?

[26:04] The works of the flesh are made known which are these and the very first one adultery what is adultery? That is all unlawful sexual relationships all unlawful sexual relationships God lumped it all under thou shall not commit adultery well you know I was just working with this man and he just started looking at me and I looked at him and you know me and my husband have been having such a hard time me and my wife she just don't understand me and we just you know well one thing led to another and I don't know how it happened and you know we just had sex could say we made love no you didn't make love you don't make love God gives you love you make sin come on hold on to your seat adultery fornication uncleanliness and lasciviousness and lasciviousness and lascivious is just a big fancy word for all manner of sexual sins idolatry and witchcraft and hatred and variance and emulations and wrath see I preached all I took my time before and stopped and preached on every one of these in times past I ain't got time to do it tonight because I want to I want to get through here and tell you what

[27:31] I want to tell you and envies and murders and drunkenness and revelings and such life of the witch I tell you before as I have also told you in times past that they which do these things shall not inherit the kingdom of God you think you want to go to heaven because you come to church and shout and speak in tongues and turn a few flips no honey if you know to do good and do it than not you're going to hell because it's sin and sinners not going to enter in but brother van hold on let me preach you let me teach you and preach you the rest of what what sister Jezebel sister Jezebel sister Jezebel taught in the church amen but the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace goodness and gentleness and faith meekness and temperance against such there is no law but they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust somebody shout amen but they that are Christ this is how you know if you're

[28:33] Christ or not have crucified the flesh with the affections and the lust somebody say my Lord I must not be Christ because I ain't crucified my flesh yet wonder how Paul knew so much about this you think he thought that everybody is tempted of the devil you think some people are exempt to temptation temptation I got news for you nobody is no one is temptation comes to everyone it doesn't matter if you're young or middle-aged or old because your mind doesn't get old your body does and somebody shout amen that's why you see a 60 year old man run around the 20 year old woman thinks he's a stud about all he's good for holding up a wall somewhere because he his mind is young but his body is old and wore out oh I'm preaching plain but I ain't through yet hold on to your seats hold on to your seats somebody say hold on hold on amen go over to Luke 13 25

[29:55] Luke 13 and 25 see what it says there well look at just starting 23 then he said unto them are there few that be saved and Jesus said unto them strive to enter in at the straight gate for many shall say unto you for many I say unto you will seek to enter in and shall not be able when once the master of the house has risen up and shut the door and you begin to stand without and knock on the door saying Lord Lord open unto us and he shall answer and say unto you I know you not from which you are then you shall begin to say we have eaten and drunk in thy presence and thou has taught in our streets but he shall say

[31:07] I tell you I know you not from whence you are depart from me all you that work iniquity there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and yourselves thrust out and yourselves thrust out out where out into hell where there's weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth where the fire is not quenched and the worm doth not in Matthew the 7th chapter go to Matthew 7 Matthew 7 and 17 somebody say Matthew 7 and 17 let me throw this in while you're going there you live what you really believe and not what you say you believe what you live is what you really believe not what you say you believe if you don't live it it's because you don't have it come on those are strong words if you don't live it it's because you don't have it amen and when the rapture happens they wrote a book about it you're going to be left behind you're going to be left behind you're going to be left behind what's it say here

[32:47] Matthew 7 and 17 even so every good treat bringeth forth good fruit now look at yourself we're fruit inspectors are you bringing forth good fruit ask yourself that are you a good person morally spiritually do you read your Bible do you pray are you faithful to church do you do you try your best to get in or are you just on the fringes sitting on the back row I always like to get on the people on the back row maybe they get tired of me getting on when they get on the front row she's going to move right now look at her thank you Jesus Corey you're in trouble son you don't want left Corey's my boy listen to what he says here now even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit every tree that bringeth forth not good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire which means hell were for by their fruits listen were for by their fruits now don't judge brother then you know the bird guy said don't judge oh shut up if you knew the word of god you'd know that the bible said that that the righteous judge everything and that's and that the saints are going to judge the angels and are going to sit on the thrones and judge the world he said judge those things that are going on in your church judge what's going on in your church if somebody ain't bearing fruit then regardless of what they hoop and holler and shout and say they been like about like the fig tree which were you know waving like they had figs on them

[34:44] Jesus went up there and he was hungry and there was no figs on the tree what did he do he cursed the tree to its roots they went on in the city they turned and came back out that afternoon that tree was already dead what happened you come to church and I got it I got it I got the fruits of the spirit I got love and joy and peace and peace and peace and peace and peace and peace and peace and peace and peace and peace and peace you say you got it but you don't bear it out your thorn tree no fruit on you what's gonna happen you're gonna die you're gonna wither up from the ground up from the roots up and you're gonna split hell wide open see one of the doctrines of Jezebel was that you can come to come to him just any way you are and that's true but you can't stay the way you came you can come to Jesus just as I am without one plea oh but that blood was shed for me amen but you can't stay the way you came there's gotta be a change if there's no change then it's because you rejected and rebelled against the word of

[35:59] God and you're not bearing fruit and you're going to hell all the time thinking I just got in just barely made it inside the gate you ain't inside the gate you're fooled and deceived amen because if you really say I was preaching this Thursday night if you're really saved there's been a change in your life you don't want to sin anymore and when you do sin you're sorry for it and you repent of it and you say Jesus please forgive me and it's not just when you first get saved because I've been saved for 37 years and I'm still shouting that please forgive me when I have a bad thought say something do something act some way that I shouldn't act you brother man we thought you was perfect that's just how much you know one place the Bible says there's not perfect no not one but strive to be perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect do you understand what I said am I talking too fast sometimes people say you talk too fast listen no not everyone that saith unto me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven not everybody that said Lord Lord is going to enter in but he that doeth the will he that doeth the will he that do are you doing God's will have if you even ask God what is God what is your will for my life what do you want me to do
