Configure listener subscribe links
Give listeners one easy place to find your RSS feed and podcast distribution channels.
RSS feed or subscribe link?
Every church gets a main RSS Feed. That is what podcast apps actually read for episodes and updates, so it is the address you submit to directories and paste into any app that accepts an RSS URL.
Subscribe Links are different. They are optional shortcuts to listings and channels that already exist elsewhere. Adding one:
- does not submit your RSS feed to that provider
- does not move or copy any audio
- does not change how the feed updates
- only adds a button for listeners
The RSS button is always on the public Subscribe page. Every other button appears only once you save a URL for it.
Get the correct destination URLs
Copy the public show or channel page that a listener should open:

Add a directory's listing URL only after the show has been submitted or claimed there. Do not paste your RSS feed into these fields.
YouTube is simply a channel shortcuts. This can be handy when your church also publishes sermon video, but it does not connect that channel to the RSS feed.
Add the links
- Go to Settings > Subscribe Links, or open subscribe link settings directly.
- Paste each complete public URL into its matching field.
- Leave services you do not use blank.
- Select Save Settings.
The settings page still includes a Google Podcasts URL field. Google Podcasts has shut down, so leave that field blank.
Test what listeners see
- Go to Dashboard.
- Under Quick Links, open Subscribe Links.
- Confirm the RSS button appears.
- Open every directory and channel button in a new tab.
- Check that each one opens the public show or channel, rather than an account dashboard or a page that asks for a sign-in.
The same buttons appear when a listener opens Subscribe anywhere on the public site. Series, preacher, and playlist pages also offer an RSS link for just that collection.
Update or remove a link
If a provider changes its public show address, replace the saved URL and test it again.
To remove a button:
- Go to Settings > Subscribe Links.
- Clear that service's URL field.
- Select Save Settings.
- Reload the public Subscribe page and confirm the button is gone.
Clearing a link only removes the button. It does not remove your podcast from that provider or change the main RSS feed.
