How to create a new sermon
Here you will learn how to create a new sermon, upload the audio and publish it for your listeners.
Open the new sermon page
- Login to manage your church
- Click the "New Sermon" button - you can find it in the side bar

Fill in the form
Fill in the information about the sermon:
- Title (required)
- Passage(s) (optional)
- Series (optional)
- Preacher (optional)
- Description (optional)
- Date (required)
- Time (optional)
- Meeting Type (optional)
- Tag(s) (optional)
You can also upload an image, add a link to a video of the sermon (from YouTube or Vimeo) or add attachments.

Upload your audio

- Click the "Choose an mp3" button
- A file dialogue will open - find the file you want to upload
- Wait while we upload the file
Only mp3 files are supported - files must be less that 50MB. (In our experience 64kbps is plenty sufficient for a sermon with a single speaker - 50MB at 64kbps is about 1 hour 40 minutes - a very long sermon!).

Save your changes

Click save.
Publish your sermon
At this stage your sermon is saved, but not visible - it isn't published yet. You can leave the sermon unpublished as long as you like, maybe you don't have the audio yet, or you are waiting on some slide to attach.
Once you are ready, click publish:
